i need help on my 89 crx... im knew to this whole thing..
my car cranks but it doesnt wanna start.. im getting sparks.. .. do you guys think it could be my fuel pump, not sending any fuel to ma motor; cause wenever i try starting it i hear something pumping behind my seat. i think its the fuel pump or something.. so please help if you guys know anything or had been on this situation.. thank you

 

try your main relay. you should hear a click when you put it on ii position on your ignition. then another click a second later (when the check engine light turns off). if you only hear one click then it's definitely your main relay, check your local junkyards. about 20 bucks or five finger discount, your choice!

 

if you are hearing noise from behind your seat whenever you turn on your ignition then the fuel pump should be good. how many miles do you have on your ride?? i have 200,000miles ++ and its original fuel pump(which is going to get replaced soon)

are you sure your getting spark?? stick a screw driver in the end of the plug and have someone crank the motor and hold the wire close to a ground. you should see spark that way.

Try replacing distributor cap and rotor. there is a small nipple type deal inside the distributor cap that tends to break. make sure you carefully put the cap on once ur done with it. because if u just throw it on u might break somethng

it was my distributr rotor it got **** up... i dont know how it happened.. but its fix..
