i was thinking of getting some smoke out spray (yellow) and spraying the inside of my lenses for my projectors...to try and make them look like the jdm yellow headlights...just dont know how it would look...i have black housing halos...how would tghey look against amber corners?

 

anyones opinion...good or bad...would be good

 

ummm not to be mean but the reason why most of the head lights are yellow is because they are plastic and they turn yellow over time. They dont come new that way

 

i did this with my corners and it works good...just fades after a year or so.

 

i dont mean like a nasty yellow...i mean like jdm yellow on like show cars...and on like ferraris race cars....they also have the jdm yellow light bulbs but on my halos my low beams have a blue lens...i found on ebay they make a yellow film type stuff...but i would rather try and find the spray tint

 

EF's never came with yellow headlights from the factory in Japan so there for its not JDM. In fact I dont believe I have ever seen a car come out of any factory with oem yellow housings. What you are talking about is the lemans style cars that have the yellow 3M film over the headlights to actually make the colour of the lights appear yellow. Why not just get a set of square yellow fogs, those are JDM for that car and look alot better then yellow headlights IMO.

 

i know they arnt "jdm" but thats what everyone calls it so if i say that people know what im saying, most of the time...

 

The name JDM gets way overused and applied to incorrect things. Im sick of hearing it actually.
