Default Type R or not?

Hello everyone. So I have an opportunity to purchase a b18c Type R complete swap at a really good price ($2200). Is there any for seeable problems with installing it in my 95 4dr LS. I want to keep all the creature comforts that are still with my car. the only thing that I don't know yet on the motor if it is obd2, which I think all type r are? Correct me if I am wrong.

thanks

Yes, you can swap that engine into your car with no problems. I believe all of them are OBD2 but I could be wrong.

Run a carfax on the VIN to make sure it's legit.

All of the USDM ITR motors are OBD2.
Get a compression test done and make sure the motor is legit as well. And by saying complete swap, I'm assuming you get the tranny as well?

$2200 for a C5 is suspiciously cheap. But if its legit, buy it.

Indeed. I would be very wary of such a low price, and would make every possible effort to verify that it was obtained legitimately and not the result of an all-to-common theft.

Assuming your are able to verify the legitimacy of the motor, you'll find that it will be quite simple (even if it is a JDM motor) to install it into a DB7 while retaining all of the car's original features.

I think thats totally Bullshit. Nobody is going to sell a motor thats is easily worth 4k-5k for half price. If they do than somebody is really hooking you up, but **** like that is always too good to be true. Why dont you punk us all off after you buy it with pics of your swap and a receipt, cause for that price i'd like to be put down for 2 engines. lol. in case i blow one. lol.

Thanks for the responses. As soon as I get to see it and hopefully purchase it, I will keep everyone posted.
