had the hood since feb. driven maybe 2000 miles tops. garage kept cleaned weekly.

lately its been dull in some areas and wont shine. i took it to have it detailed and the detailers said the clear was lifting off and the hood was done poorly. i emailed VIS they basically said tough sh&t its a few months old.

i live no where near a factory beach salty northern winters. no where.

ive seen a few other issues from other cars. I was wondering if anyone has seen this

im sure you can find the answer there...its about 3M marine wax

i got mine professionally wet sanded/buffed

 

theres a thread somewhere in a/c about restoring the finish on dull carbon bonnets. from what i remember it came out pretty good.
