Default quick, antenna replacement!

the eg hatch I bought dosent have an antenna, it has the jdm blockoff. When i unscrewed it, theres no wires visible at all. If i get a wire and antenna, is it pretty straightfoward install from headunit to antenna? Please give some advice, thanks

Im pretty sure if you get the stock antenna it would be pretty straight forward, you would have to pull the cable through that hole which might be pretty tough.

You could also get a window mount antenna which is very easy to install so you could keep that block off.

Window mounted antennas suck ***. They never work. Get an OEM antenna and try to snake the wire down... its a bitch to get down right. I used a really long zip tie to snake it through.

I have the window mount posted above and it works fine for me! Its got pretty strong adhesive and wont fall off the window. I guess it depends on others experiences if they like them or not. It was just a suggestion. Also the Stock antenna would be cheaper.

I got an antenna from the junkyard for 2bucks, we had trouble wiring it through the a-pillar, so we got lazy and just went through the roof and down the a-pillar, but not under the metal.
