Default b18a intermittent cel problem

So my dad and I took my crx out for a shakedown drive tonight, and it ran great. However, when we hold the RPMs between about 1250RPM and 2000RPM, the CEL light goes on after a while. It happens sooner the more heavily loaded the engine is, and it takes longer when the engine is more lightly loaded. It almost never goes on when we hold the RPMs in that range with the clutch in. After the CEL light goes on, the light stays on no matter how high the RPM goes up, but it will go out when the RPM drops down to idle below 1000. If we quickly run the engine up past 2000RPM, the CEL never goes on.

In all cases, we do not get any codes after we check for codes.

The ECU is a stock PR4.

Any ideas as to what is causing this weird problem?

Hm....I thought the ECU was supposed to store the codes and flash them for some length of time even if the light goes back out?

Anyway, I used to (and still do occasionally) get a Code 1 02 sensor when the car is under load, cruising at low rpm's. It never goes off though, until the car is shut off.....I'm pretty sure mine is because the wire is ghetto-extended to accomodate a header.
