I need to put a 6AN Male on my fuel filter?
I need to put a 6AN Male fitting on my fuel filter to hook up my SS line too. What fitting do I need? (Thread/pitch...) to screw into the fuel filter?

If you are referrig to the service screw on top on the banjo fitting, it is most likely 6mm x 1mm pitch. This would be to connect a fuel pressure gauge.
If you are referring to replacing the banjo fitting and fuel line then you will probably need to remove the screw and measure it.
Of course, depresurize your system before loosening the screw.

I am hoping you are installing an aftermarket fuel rail and SS lines. I am having difficulty with fitting my new A E M fuel rail for my b18c1. The feed line connection pipe is a straight pipe with 5/16 size. If you are setting up a new rail what size is your feed connection and what fittings did you use to connect your SS fuel line?
I sure do appreciate any ideas. None of the dealers in my area deal with 5/16 connections. Rats.
THANKS. fobile

I have a cool banjo bolt/ -6 AN fitting that was made up by a local guy.
It was suggested that he make a dozen of these, as it is really useful.
I'll try to take a pic when I get a chance.
You can kinda see it mounted on the fuel filter in this thread:

But it's not much to see - just a fitting that is banjo on one side and -6 AN on the other. Really short - maybe 1.5" in length.....

thanks black r, I have now found the fuel rail connection, I had a 5/16 rail connection that we switched out to 3/8. I am on to the fuel filter connection. Can you tell how the fabricator fixed your banjo/ -6AN fitting? My guy doesn't think there is enough pipe.
What I might do is look for a 12mm pipe fitting with the proper threading. Then I'll cut the top off of the bolt and leave it like a post sticking up. Let me see what I uncover!! Thanks. fobile.

.....do you also have a small banjo fitting so i dont have to use a AN fitting on my fpr side? The AN fitting I have is too big and it hits the brake booster housing at idle. Not good - seeing as how the motor will move a bit during acceleration and deceleration, braking, etc...

hello civic X, I would like to get the banjo/ AN fitting. How much shipped to 33406? Please e-mail: boltwestpalm@aol.com. I thank you.
I wonder why AEM makes a FPR available but does nothing connecting back to the filter?? The rail adapter that came with the rail was 5/16 and nothing fit!!!!! I tossed it out. Now I only have to connect to the filter.
Will there be any negative effect from not using the B18 pulsation damper at the rail? I would hope the larger bore and adj. regulator would keep things smooth??
Thanks, fobile.
