Default trouble getting into 1st after LSD install...

I installed a JDM ITR LSD into my GSR tranny last week and ever since then I've been having trouble getting into first gear. Its okay if i'm completely stopped but if i'm rolling upto a stop and try to put it into 1st gear it doesnt want to go. I've tried forcing it a little hoping that things would get back into alignment but it hasnt work. Does any one know what might be causing this or do I need to start saving for a transmission rebuild?

Just wait till you get to a stop, you shouldn't have to use first unless at a complete stop anyways, besides its fairly common.

Unless you are on a track or racing around hairpin turns I wouldn't worry.

If anything try bliping the throttle to ease it in. Heel+toe.

yea i get the same feeling but its no big, a blip of the throttle does usually work. i think its got something to do with the synchros.

no need to rebuild, thats common. unless ur like under 5mph then getting into first is hard rolling to a stop.

if you were able to do that without the lsd then you might have something

What does "almost stopped" mean? 10mph? 5mph? Like people have said, you shouldn't be able to move the shifter into 1st easily, even when it's almost at a standstill.

If you do, you have to blip the throttle just a little bit. I believe there is no synchros in 1st and reverse.

I've been trying that too. from neutral i have to make a complete stop and pump the clutch pedal once and it will go into first. if i go from 2nd to 1st somtimes it will go and sometimes it wont. and when it does i have to force it.
