But the conversion into a K-series tranny would be anything BUT cheap. Just get a JDM K20A lsd for 350-400 bucks and bolt it right into ANY K-series tranny, or wait until they become more plentiful (and cheaper) once the new Si's arrive with their K20A2 and LSD.

Best bet is e-bay. Look for a guy called midnightm3 as the seller... he's gotten quite a reputation for selling these things. That's where I got mine.

oh yeah and a lsd for 350.00 wow thats a lot of money? are you getting typer or qualifeI got a phantom lsd for my type-s for 200.00

Yeah, but a Phantom Grip LSD isn't a true LSD. They are known to break under heavy loads and don't work 100% of the time. $350 is not much for an LSD. And $350 you aren't getting a quaife unless you got a hook-up! I would suggest selling the LSD you have and getting the type-r one.

Also, how did you manage to fit a phantom grip inside an LSD? It sounds like you have a TypeS LSD, with GSR spider gears and then jamed a phantom grip inside that. Am I wrong?
