Ok, this car was found in Chile (where I'm originally from) and it is a 96 Ferio. It looks a lot like the Y8 manifold, and I was thinking it could be the JDM version of the Y8???? What do you all think?



Car is RHD and is offered to a friend in rougly 3k

 

Wouldnt it be a Chilean d16y8, if thats where its from? Either way, a y8 is a y8

 

Chilean cars are not RHD. This car was directly imported from Japan. In another pic, there's more ferios in the back of the lot

oh and it has 40k miles on the odo...

 

Ya its the same most likely, maybe missing the EGR for J-spec models

i can this tell you for sure:

the european civic ek3 has a D15Z6 engine and 115 hp, this version was sold to new sealand too.

i guess the japanese ek3 has a d15b engine with 130 hp and dual stage vtec
( 2 vtec solenoids) due other emission reglemations (sp?)
