I'm new to this and I am thinking of getting new shocks for my 95 teg. well springs too. When I looked up for shocks, They listed, for example, shocks and struts. What is the difference, are they same? I just need shocks and springs, where does struts come in to play?

Click on suspension, then read the sections under Independent Suspension. Basically struts combine the duties of the shock, steering knuckle, and upper control arm on a double wishbone suspension.
