I will be swapping out my DX (crx) with a B18C1 soon, but in the mean time I am getting up parts to have so they will go in with the motor. Now i am wondering if I go ahead and get a 255 fuel pump and put it in now wile I still have the DPFI will the car still run or am I gonna blow the injectors out? I drive the car everyday, and it need a new pump anyway. So i was thinking i don't wanna do the work twice. Any help would be great!!!

 

The new pump will work with your DX.

 

So it will not be overkill for them 2 little injectors?

 

As long as the pressure doesn't increase over stock too much, it will be fine.

 

I've read that the Walbro 255lph is overkill for a NA engine especially a stock D15 or even B18A. From what I've gathered, the fuel pressure will increase causing the car to run rich across the board.

 

You can run the 1st gen DSM fuel pumps in the civics/CRXs. Its a direct drop in, Im running the VR4 fuel pump.

Well i guess i'll try that. I do have a 255 in my LS integra, and i think in my be a little over kill.
