Icon2 Walbro 255 fuel pump and 1200cc precision injectors enough for 550whp on e85?

I was wondering if walbro 255 fuel pump and 1200cc precision injectors would be enough for 550whp on e85? I want to schedule a tune date but need to figure out a couple things.

I'm pretty sure the walbro won't make it. Give the Tuner a call he should be able to give you a better answer.

At 43.5psi 1000cc max out around 450 with a single 255 intank pump. 2000cc max out around 650 with a 255 intank pump at 43.5psi. Since you have 1200cc you might beable to get to 500hp. The duty cycle might be a little high and you'll have to up your pressure but I'm not sure how much pressure a 255 can put out and sustain on e85. You could get dual intank walbros to be safe and run your fuel pressure above 43 up to you.

I'm going to have to say no. I tried E85 once and I have the aeromotive 340 fuel pump and ID 1000's. At 12psi I made 380 and was already over 90% duty cycle on the injectors. How do some people make so much HP on a single pumps and 1000cc injectors or less? Hell if I know, from what I was advised you need at least another inline pump and 1600cc injectors or bigger. That was just my experience with E85.

1200s would work.... and I would run dual walbros or a deatchwerks 340 in the tank.

The 1200s will probably be the only thing limiting you on power though.

One of my buddies car's that got tuned a couple years ago, 530whp on 1000's and a walbro 255.

My other buddies Integra has 1200's and a walbro 255 and that made 505whp.

not a single walbro on e85 would run outof pump before those numbers

Maybe on gas, but not e85.

1200cc injectors and a walbro 255 WILL NOT make 550whp on E85. What brand injectors are you running?

Edit: Just read you're on precision injectors. If you had better injectors you could get a pump that flows fuel at high pressure and it would allow you to push them past 1200cc. However, I wouldn't recommend it with precision injectors.

Just get a second walbro and see how far it gets you. My guess is 480-500 dynojet hp.

I would say no. I had id1000 with stock lines and walbro. Maxing injectros duty out @365 crank hp. And walbro is rewired. I have DW300 now but clutch is still missing. Also new feed line coming.

I ran out of fuel around 480whp and found out one of my 2 walbros was dead. Replaced and made 550 with more fuel to go. That's on 1200's.

My personal car made 435whp last year on a single walbro, e85, and the injectors were at 55% and that was with 1000cc precisions.

that should have been more like 80-85%, pump runs out of steam right around 480whp with 1000cc injectors

My setup is running a DW301 on a separate relay, 4 PTE 1000's, and 50psi base pressure. It managed 520whp on pump E85. It was tuned before the relay was installed. It started to look a little lean at the top of the pull, it looked like the pump was right on the edge. Picked up almost 2V with the relay setup and made myself a safety margin at the high rpm. Until I either go with the DW feeding dual 044's inline or a second DW in the tank, the car is not making anymore power on E85.

I just posted a video of my buddies car that was tuned by the same guy, 538whp on precision 1000s and a single walbro.

Alright, so it is actually 69% duty cycle because of E85. Sorry I was a bit off, but still not maxed out.

Your hondata screenshot does not show boost tables. Unless you're making 430 HP n/a, lol.

So if I get another walbro 255lph inline kit or fullblownmotorsports dual fuel pump setup, or one walbro 400lph intank kit?
