b20 keeps overheating...
i did searches but none of the topics i found helps me with the problem im having...
okay, i got a b20 in my 99 civic and im still using the stock civic radiator (if that has anything to do with it)
...anywayse my problem is that when my car is at idle my temp. gauge always goes up high...my thermostat works fine cause it comes on when it needs too but i still keep it running as soon as i turn on my car...i have no leaks anywhere but for some reason everytime i check my radiator and my resevoir the coolant is always low...so i have to keep adding more into it...it doesnt overheat while im driving only while its parked...
i dunno if this was a good way too put it but does anyone think they know what the problem is?
need help ASAP...!!!!

how long have you had the swap in your car?
you might have got air in your system when you hooked up your waterlines. same thing happened to me when i installed my turbo water lines it eventually worked itself out.

i had it since april...do i need to drain the coolant out my block and radiator to get the air out my system?

start the car, let it idle with the radiator cap off. When the system cycles, or burps, there will be space in the radiator, fill it with more water, continue this cycle until it is filled all the way to the top. and fill the resivor up as well to the full mark when hot.
