Need GSR wiring harness ASAP
If anyone has a wiring harness for a 96 GSR laying around, please let me know. I will pay good money for you to overnight it to me. I thought I had my problem fixed with my 50a ignition fuse blowing, but while loading the car up tonight, it blew again. I put another in, and it blew immediately. I cannot seem to find the problem, and dont know wiring good enough to try and track the problem. I just hope I can get it fixed before this weekend.
I would also appriciate ALL ideas of what the problem could be, even if it sounds simple and petty. I've checked everything I could, and found no broken wires.

Here is a shot of the fuse that is blowing... It is the #39 fuse. Im not too good at reading schematics, I guess I should learn some more. Would a bad ignition switch cause the fuse to blow?
What did you change before the fuse started blowing. Start there.
Sounds like a short circuit between the ignition switch (starter?) and the battery.
It appears to be a short somewhere between the fuse and the ignition switch.

Havn't changed anything. The first time it blew was on the last lap of a 2 hour enduro, so I'm guessing something went bad. Not sure what, too many posibilities. I guess I'll change the ignition switch first.

Update -
I found the general area of the problem. When the clutch is engaged, sparks shoot from behind the under-dash fuse box. Every time I push the clutch in, it blows the 50a ignition fuse under the hood. I guess I'll be pulling the dash off. What electrical components are associated with the clutch pedal?

Got it fixed finally. A bolt had come out of the clutch mount, and the mount was tearing into the ignition harness when the pedal was pressed. Sounds simple, but this one was a PITA

I'm pretty sure everythings ok now, thanks for the heads up though.
