Pinging noise on rear right.
Need Help!!!
1995 Civic 2 door coupe, EX motor.
While driving to work yesterday, I started hearing a pinging noise on the rear right side. I don't know if my axle went out or if it's just a tire that is worn to the metal. When I check, my tires are worn out to where you can see the metal. Does anyone know if that will cause a pinging noise????

A bald tire shouldnt cause a "pinging noise". It can "hum" at high speeds, but not ping. It could also be other things than what you are describing.
or..
You may have a wheel bearing that is going bad. You should try and describe the problem with more details. Doe the sound slow down when you are coming to a stop, and speed up as the car speeds up?
