backend knocking
Alright, I got a little puzzler that's not motor related. I've taken my car to several mechanics on this, and they can't seem to figure out what the problem is without wanting to take apart all of my rear suspension. I get a wierd knocking/clicking sound coming distinctly from the rear right wheel well(say that 4 times fast!!) when I make 90 degree right hand turns. It only happens on right turns, noise is strictly limited to right rear wheel well, and varies in intensity/frequency depending on how long the car has been on(longer it's been driven, less noise it makes). Yeah, I know, sounds like might be a CV joint, but then...........a little while back, I blew my rear right tire, and had to put a loaner on for 2 days that had a much lower speed rating/less grip. This caused the clicking/knocking noise to completely disappear. Once I replaced the loaner w/better tire, noise came back in full force. Anyone got any ideas??? And no, there's no golfballs rolling around in the trunk!

**** there are no CV joints in the rear of the car, this is a front wheel drive car .. possibly .. you might wanna check your brakes
