Default Steering Questions?

so i had the alignment on my car. My stupid *** when over a bump to fast. Took it to my local dealer to get it fixed. They fixed it but now the steering wheel is really soft. Also every time i hit holes even if there really small the steering wheel jurks to the side and the car get pulled really hard to which ever direction. Took i back to the dealer and they said every is find. that nothing was damaged and that the alignmnet was done right. But still think there's something wrong with it . so i was just wondering if you guys had any ideas of what it could be. the steering wheel feels really loose, soft i guess. any ways thanx if any one has any comments.

Is the tire pressure where you normally keep it?

they even went as far as to tell me that the car was defective. since i didnt get from that dealer. So im going to take it to the dealer where i bought from. Maybe they can stiff the steering a little bit more.

i have no idea thats what they said. So gonna take the dealer where i bought it from. Maybe thats we. My questions is if there's anything that can be tighting some how to make it stiffer. On eof my friends said it could be the rack and pinion (i think thats how its spell). So i have no idea what could be wrong with it.

If I had to guess, I would say that your blinker fluid is low.

I would take it to every dealership close by until your find a competent technician.

as others have said,
Do not trust your dealership.

Take the car to independant place and check the alignment again.

NTB does it for under $70.

the obvious question is what broke or bent in the first place?

anything?

if one of your steering components bent and they just realigned it to fix it, that would explain why it would jerk when you hiy bumps.

think of it like this...

if you have a bicycle and you bend the front fork to the left, and then "fix" it by readjusting the handle bars. is rides straight when the handle bars are in the straight position, but it is still not fixed.

i would doubt that you damaged the rack by hitting a pothole, but i could be wrong.

also, dealers are shady but these cars are rare and few independent shops have any experience with them. an algnment is a different story, thats not what i mean, i amreferring to bent steering pieces of whatever.

definatley get a second opinion

i have no idea what could be wrong with it. All i can do is take to another place to see whats up. The only thing is that i think no dealer wants to take responsability, just in case its a factory issues. Then they dont have to fix it. I think im gonna take it to another dealer an get a second opinion. I this point im so dissappointed in honda. The car i only 4 months old. I just dont know what would make it feel so loose and pull every direction on the freeway or street. As far as something being bent the dealer said thats nothing was damaged. So im clueless as to what it could be.??? I think in a few month im just gonna trade it and get a G35. sad i loved my s2.
