hey my ac compressor makes a
funny *** noise ...like squeek noise hella loud too..
well does anyone know how to fix that..
it only makes it when its idleing or low RPMs..
i checked it out and it seems like the a/c gets stuck
or held back....i was told it was the bearing....but not sure...
and also i was told it could be that it needs oil like with the
freon or something....any suggestions or help ...please reply back

does is make noise while ac on? or off?
do ac still works?

most likely the compressor is gone.
But try to tighten the belt a little more.

Both times when my compression was making any kind of noise the compression went shortly after, the first time it squeeling only at idle and low rpms like yours and the compressor locked up shortly after. The second time it sounded like a supercharged car, and the bearing went bad with sparks flying around my compressor clutch. And oil will not save you before any of these incidents occur.

depend on how deep your pocket is.
But a brand new one probably last about 5 yrs. avg. $ 350+
or get a used one for like 50+

my compressor avaeraged around $80 used. A new one will run you at least $285. And they only warranty it if you have proof that it was professionally installed. removing it is not that hard. It's just more difficult if you still have a factory crossmember.
