Default Junkyard turbo...95 EX

Hey guys, Im not big into Honda tuning...acutally have never done it. Im more into domestics. But my daily driver is a 95 Civic EX coupe, and its slow. A friend of mine just upgraded his turbo on his Volvo S40 and is offering me the turbo for my car. Basically i need to know what all is needed to do a basic junkyard turbo set up. I wanna do it all cheap, and dont plan on making a 500hp car. I plan on running low boost, prolly around 6-7ish, max 10psi. Those of you who've done this before, what do i need to know, what parts do i need? and where can i get them for cheap.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

i am gonna get my full turbo for 800 installed...ecu tune and everything

you need the cx manifold.. adapter plate turbo downpipe, intercooler, piping, bov, wastegate, injectors and fuel pump ( if you dont wanna go kaboom ) and the most you can push is 8 on that motor... im gonna be making 170-180 whp on 7 psi fully tuned if you dont know much about hondas i would just suggest intake exhaust

that is pretty high boost for a stock d16 6-8 is a safe range to be in u could also be good with 10 if u have it tuned..if ur thinkin about goin boost just do it and dont do i/h/e ur gonna get tops 10hp off that setup and u will barely feel the difference if u do

honestly there is a turbo noobie thread in the forced induction section of http://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum. go there, and look it all over.

basically you need something to control the fuel and timing needs of turbo setups, and all the turbo parts off a wrecked dsm.
