Default turbo questions

ok i have a basically stock d15b7 motor. it has i/h/e and my friend has a mitsubishi eclips w/ a 16g turbo. hes getting a bigger one and is selling me the turbo very cheap. it sitll works and everything but i have some questions on it.

i know some of you civic guys have a 16g turbo but would this even be a good turbo for my motor? it has 166k miles on it. still runs good but its slow. no vtec either. i could probably find a manifold in the clasifieds but would i need to change anything else on my car? like fuel injectors or anything like that?

please give me some help for i don't really know anything about installing and tuneing a turbo. thanks

yes you have to change other things. you cant just slap on a mani and a turbo and be boosting. you need charge pipes, wastegate, turbo, mani, injectors, fuel pump, bov, downpipe, couplers and clamps, engine mgt, just to name a few. 166xxx miles is alot, is the engine still running strong w/ out any problems? if you were to boost it i would go crazy just maybe 5-6 lbs but thats just my $.02.

if your going to boost make sure to have a good engine management and do not over boost that 160,xxx car.
