CRX WONT EVEN START ANYMORE?
theres not even a clicking sound (starter) when i try to start her up. this morning, i figured there was no juice in the battery so i tried to jump her off but nothing happened.
when i connected the last black cable (the negative that goes onto the metal frame of the car) the car came alive for like half a second.
now its just dead. i think its the starter thats messed up.
what in the f is going on?

When you turn your key, does the dash light up, but nothing happens...just silence?
If so it could just be the switch on top of the clutch pedal not connecting

the dash doesnt even light up.
my model year of the crx is an 88 and it doesnt need to have the clutch pushed in in order for it to start.
so yeah. it cant be that....
any other suggestions as to whats up?

Hondas are famous for bad ignition key electrical portion of the switch, get it checked out, you jumped it maybe wrong and blew some main fuses check them out too.
Mine is also an 88 and it does have to have the clutch pushed in, it has a different type of buttonh at the top of the clutch pedal...maybe yours is diff. for some reason.
If the dash doesn't even light up at all then there is no power from the battery. Either that or your ignition switch is bad
