Pics of my del Sol (same as EG forum post)
Hello all. Relative noob here. Just shot some low res pics, and wanted to get some comments and feedback, so.....here they are -

N.B. Posted in EG forum too, but since its a Hybrid, thought I'd show and tell here also.

hold on: is that a hybrid?
that looks like a del sol VTEC with a cold-air, rims, and a can of yellow spray paint: not to mention clear corners.
correct me if im wrong...

87posCRX......correction coming
The 93-95 del Sols had the aux lights (the little round lights in front). The 96-97 models didn't. Since this has the aux lights, its indicates it being a 93-95 (its a 93). Now, the B16A2 is an OBDII motor, sooooo......its at least a motor swap. Since the B series motor didn't come in the 93 del Sol models, yes, its a hybrid. Not a spectacular Frankenstein hybrid, but one nonetheless. It is in fact (and you can see the donor car VIN in one pic) a B16A2 from a 99 Civic Si.
So there, stand corrected!
To everyone else....yeah, sorry about the multi-angle engine shots. I was trying to get a decent pic, but forgot to audit what went up. No biggie, sorry if I wasted download time (I'm broadband).
The blue/yellow color scheme is a little different from what is usually seen, which is why I went with it. I think its pretty clean and subtle, but that's just my opinion. No one else really has to see it, so that's ok.
Naturally enough, the car is in a state of evolution. I have bigger, better things planned, but those will have to wait for funding.
BTW, for those interested, there are more pics (none of the engine!) in the EG forum post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=133370......there's a rear suspension shot, but no "*** shots" right now. I'll try to get that later today if I have a chance.
Thanks for all the comments.
Steve
