turbo wheel is tight after attempted clocking. please help
hey guys,
i have a Garrett T3 off the Ford Merkur, its a .48/.60.. well its been sitting for a while. but it still spun freely and smoothly. today i attempted to clock it because i will be installing it in a couple of days. i cant seem to get the ehxaust housing off. its stuck on there.. so after a while, i gave up and put it back together. i was dumb and i took off the compressor housing too. then i put everything back together correctly. but now the wheel spins smoothly but its pretty tight. is this normal? what did i **** up??
as of now, i plugged the drain hole, and added oil through the oil feed hole.
any help is appreciated. .thanx
