Ditched SOHC for B-series
I'm new on this forum and just wanted to say hi. I spun a rod bearing on my turbo single cam so now im going DOHC. I tried searching but nothing comes up. I have a 97 DX Coupe that ran 13.8@101 turbod and i want my b18c1 to be just as fast. What kind of upgrades would i need to do to achieve this. Thanks for the help in advance.
Get another turbo.
But really, the B series motors make more power per mod than the single cams. To get in the 13s, you'll still need to spend some money on engine work though. Some cams and all the bolt ons would be great.
I'm sure there's plenty of people who will disagree however.

I ran 13.8 @ 102mph on streets... in a hatch though. Nothing too terribly special. Minus the Skunk2 Stage 1 cams which are very mild, I was using all Honda parts
