Just get ceramic coated DCs.... The stainless look pretty for about 3 months... then they look ugly and you'll end up getting header wrap to cover them up... Just get the ceramic coated and you wont need header wrap.

SS is better quality and will last longer. CC only lasts a max of 5 years, but temperature under the hood is better.

are you talking about exhaust or header? I dont mind ceramic but of course stainless steel looks better. (at first at least.) and i heard stainless steel is less prone to rusting. i would just get ceramic.

get a ceramic coated header, they are pretty durable and under the hood temp is lower...

Buy a high quality Stainless Steel header and have it sent off to a company that specializes in Ceramic Coating...like HPC, Airborne Coatings...there are a bunch of them

im assuming your talking about header.. anyway how much longer do you plan on keeping the car? or moreso.. are you going turbo later? if you plan on keeping it forevery/until the motor dies and leaving it N/A.. then i'd get stainless..

however if you are planning on 1)turbo'ing the car later on or 2) trading it in a few years from now (or sooner).. then i'd get Ceramic..

performance wise their both pretty much the same.. Ceramic is made of milder steel.. and is ceramic coated.. the stainless will look better when new.. nice and shiny.. but will bronze/brown/purple out as it goes through use/heating cycles... if your planning on keeping the car for a long time.. i'd get stainless.. if not get ceramic..

So SS Exhaust is better than ceremic coated? I am thinking either buying a Apexi WS or RS*R Magnum or 70 Degree Tip. Any comment? If you got those exhausts i'm talking about, PLEASE POST YR PICS! THKS!!!

email sales@alternativemotoring.com for the RSR exhaust, i have it, it's very nice and quiet, low rumble, and nice at WOT...pretty cheap 290 + shipping....better quality than the WS IMO
