Default OBDII to OBDI??

Ive got a 2000 LS and im lookin to swap in a 95 GSR. When i go to pass inspection and they plug in, they're gunna see it as an OBDI. I'm pretty sure ill fail right there...but is there a way to convert an OBDI engine to OBDII?

Noobie question..Sorry.

Easy that huh? Good stuff. Any additional wiring for another o2 sensor or no?

If they plug into the OBD2 diagnostic port for testing....

You'll have to swap over to an OBD2 Integra oil pump and add a crankshaft fluctuation sensor to it. With a 2000 chassis, everything else will be there (you'll have to use the 2nd O2 in the cat as well).

The only GSR ECU that will plug up to your current wiring will be a 00-01 ECU. The 00-01's have immobilizers in them. You'll have to deal with getting your keys reprogrammed to the new immobilizer at a dealership (or swap out the immobilizer on the GSR ECU board with your current LS immobilizer).

Alternatively, you can use a 96-99 GSR ECU with an OBD2B to OBD2A conversion harness. This will do away with the immobilizer problem completely.
