One of my belts is squeeking...? Help!
One of my belts is making a constant persistant squeeking sound. If it's any help, it stops when I press in the clutch pedal, but once I release it's back again. Motor is a 2000 Civic Si. Help?
Can you attach a recording of the sound its making? I can't see how the clutch pedal would have anything to do with it.
I would start by inspecting your belts for wear, and also check tension.

Here's a quick vid I just took starting the car up from cold...

Maybe it's a pulley?

its hard to tell from the video but my guess is if it has to do with the clutch pedal it is the pilot bearing. Is it a belt squeek or more of a spinning and stopping noise?
