Re: (lv6l)
that sounds is comming from your clutch. so imma guess its clutch chatter.
it can either be a
loose flywheel
clutch not disengaging all the way
or really a fucked up bearing.
i cant think of anything else becase your motor is fine and your tranny is fine so it must be somewhere in the middle.

Re: (Danger Hart)
I dont have the badwith to listen to it (56k), But I'm going to take a guess that its the release bearing. I've replaced many of these due to the same sound your hearing. It takes about 3 or 4 hours to relace depending on the tools and experience you have. The bearing costs like 40 bucks from Honda.

Re: (JamesV)
Who cares what kind of tranny it is. Any D-series tranny will bolt up. But the problem is; even if you buy a whole new tranny, the release bearing could still be bad. Don't buy a new trans. just replace the release and pilot bearing. That should fix all!
Dont think too much into the problem and replace things that dont need replacing. That's the biggest problem people have. Just figure out the main problem and fix it. If it consists of the tranny being replaced, then replace it. But don't go to extremes.
