Default Car has no power.... ignition timing???

Alright well i finished my swap and everything is good except that my car has no power. I can push the gas down all the way and the car just won't pick up. The rpms go up as slow as the car speeds up. Could this be caused by the timing being off. If the crankshaft pulley is off by one tooth would this cause this to happen? or if the cams were off? I don't have the timing belt cover on the engine so im doing my best to get the timing good but would the timing cause the car to loose this much power. Im looking to get atleast 200 whp.

I have gone through the possibilities of what it could be in the book and timing is what i have narrowed it down to. Everything involving the clutch is new. Emissions is good also. It is going to the shop monday to be looked at by any advice to help me out would be appreciated.

Also another thing that is werid is that I am throwing the code 19 which is the shift lock soleniod but I have a manuael tranny and that code is just for auto trannys. Does ne one know why this code could be there. I am also throwing the IAT code which is code 10. Would that have ne thing to do with the car losing power?

Camshaft timing or spark timing could be the cause. It's pretty easy to verify each of these, so do that first to rule them out. Why do you say the emmissions are good? Has it been tested? I think cam or spark timing would have a pretty strong effect on emmissions.

IAT can give you troubles too, but I'd guess that wouldn't cut your power as badly as the timing.

Well the car is at the mechanic right now b/c i cnat figure this crap out. After talking to him though he doesnt see what it can be besides for timing. I did a vacumn test and it performed perfectly. Also the compression test was perfect. I have done the timing a bunch of times but he thinks that maybe I am just off one tooth which would cause me to loose a ton of power whihc makes sense. But he is suppose to be calling me tomrrow about ti and hopefully he fixed it but ill let everyone know in case anyone else has a problem like this.
