Are the 9005, 9006 12000K HID Conversion Kit (extreme blue) legal in the states.

nothing aftermarket is legal. the car would have to come from the factory with it in order for it to be legal.

exactly right. one major factor is cutoff.

Just remember color temp does not mean more output, 4300k is probably THE best light color to get.

Do a retrofit, don't just throw in some hid kit because you will have lots of glare and be blinding people. You would be suprised that a full hid conversion (projectors etc) will run you about 400 bucks whereas a plug and play hid kit (bulbs and ballast) will run you 300-400, so you might as well do it right the first time.

i did the retrofit and got some great results...came straight out of an audi...

don't mind the filthy car on a winter day...
