The ride depends on the springrate you get.

Photo's of what? Lowering a car with a set of coilvers is gonna look the same as lowering with just about anything else.

The Ground Controls will probably suck with anything other than a Koni; they will be seriously underdamped. Even my Pro-Kits weren't that great with the KYB's, and the Tokicos aren't much better. I couldn't be happier with my Koni / GC setup and wished I had bought the Konis in the first place.

I'm pretty sure it's your shocks, you're more than likely underdamped as I said before. My Pro-Kits sucked with KYBs, ran them with Konis and the car was a completely different animal. I tracked my friends EG hatch with stock springs and Koni Yellows this weekend after our timed sessions were done, and let me tell you, those things made even stock springs handle unbelievably.

Yeah, I thought the KYBs were great when I first got them; and even recommended them to many people. I thought I outgrew the setup (KYBs with EIbachs) for the track, but it turned out that the shocks had crapped out on me in about 30K, when the stocks lasted almost 70K. Ipm pretty sure they crapped out on me sooner (I was having suspension setup problems all season) but I replaced them at 30K.

Then I went to the Koni Yellows with GCs, and quickly realised how important shocks really are. I would have stuck with the Eibachs for another season or two if I had known what I know now. Like I said, I even took out a few stock cars with Konis and could not beleive how fantastic those shocks really are.

My gc's are 330f 250r. Are my agx underdampening them?

I have ground controls with kyb agx's with 205-40-17's and the ride sucks. the bumps hit hard, pot holes feel like your chassis is gona seperate from the body of the car. I was much happier when i had the agx/pro kit set up but it wasn't low enough. ground control bein made by eibach isn't what i thought it was going to be....i'm replacing the ground controls with a tein set up

The ground controls are probably significantly higher spring rates compared to the pro kits, what do you expect? The pro kits being not much of a drop will be more comfortable than the gc's. And those 17's on don't help much either.

True, I knew what I was in for but I just cant take the ride anymore, I'd rather try new springs and keep the GC's and worst comes to worst buy some Koni Yellows and put the GC's back in. And 17's aren't the way to go especially with the 40 series profile, and I bought new tires the other week and didn't even think about it I bought another 40 series set instead of the 45 i should have bought
