ok hurrs da deal.....i just put in my d15b2 i bought cause my other was blown...when i start the car...it idles fine but when i step on it hard it bogs down for a good 2 seconds then revs but it wont hit the redline....or i think the fuel cut off when ur engine pulses near redline...it is smoking a dark color like grey almost black and my plugs are very black with lotta soot......what is wrong with this thing....any ideas.....btw there are no error codes and no cel....please help me out

 

oh and it backfires too for that boggin period

Is it on timing? I'm not 100% sure but I think it should be around 16 or so. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong?

sorry for above came out like crap those lines....so the middle line is where mt ignition timing should be when i hit it with the timing light and the line alone is where i put the crank when im setting valve timing right.....thanx

 

well i found the prob...turns out when i swapped my t/b out i forgot to set the idle screw so when i revved it...it would sputter and stay at high rpms...thanx anyways guys
