bought another lude slightly overheating
so i just bought another prelude its a 92 SI with the 95 leather interior and h22 motor. the lude with the h23 i had to leave at home. livin in pheonix now. the lude i bought is pry one of the cleanest ive ever seen silver nice wheels and dropped. no rust no dings no dents and i gt it for 5 g's. i thought it was a good deal. but the car was overheating. changed the coolant put 75-15 water to coolant and water weter runs cooler for longer but only overheats on the interstate. there is no water in the oil and no leakdown. the guy that i bought it from said that it had the stock h23 radiator which is a 1 row 95 Vtec has a 2 row could this be some of my problem. another thing im going to try is the thermostat. motor only has 54k so this pry isnt the problem because it is fine on the streets but gets hot on the interstate. any help would be appretiated
I didn't see you mention changing the thermostat. Also, I don't think the H22 and H23 radiators are different. I'm running an H23 radiator with my H22 and i have NO problems. I even track my Lude.
Is your radiator the original one that came with the car?

like andy said, the thermostat can effect it alot and also your coolent water should be 50-50 not 25-75, im not sure on the radiator cause im sure their pretty simulqar but that could cause it if the 23 is a 1 row and the 22 is a 2 row that could but see if thermostat is the right one
