Default gear fell off...

so i replaced my timing belts, and the crankshft and balance shaft seals about a month ago. i've put about 2,000 miles on it since then, so i figure it's all good, everything is nice and broken in . coming home from work today, i hear a belt squealing really loud and then its replaced by a clunking metal noise, and i was like WTF !? luckily i was at the top of a hill and could coast the rest of the way home through my developement. i shut off the engine and coast home onto the driveway. i pop the hood and look down the driver side of the motor. i found a belt gear sitting in there , and i was thinking...what the hell is this!? the plastic belt cover had a hole in it where the balance shaft gear bolts up, and i just thought "oh great...". i pulled out the gear and it looks as though the bolt was overtightened and bored away at the gear eneough to cause it to get pushed out. so tomorrow will be a long, fun day ... wish me luck
