sup guys..i have a b16a2 on a 95 coupe...well the vtec pops hard..u can hear it a block away...but when that vtec opens u dont feel the push u suppose to feel...some people have told me that the car sounds like if is chocking up...now my down pipe is the one from the b16 and the mid pipe is the original one that came with the car..but the muffler is a 99 Si muffler...im thinking probably fuel pressure..but i have a fuel pressure gage and it looks fine..i do have the stock fuel pump from the car running...any ideas?? i just did the swap about a month or almost 2 ago...any help would be greatly appreciated...thanx

vtec shouldnt "pop hard" like you are saying. it should be more of a smooth transition, anyway, have you checked your oil pressure and oil level?

 

yeah i have...everything seems to be just fine...when i use my p30 comp it pops hard opens and is loud maybe because is a jdm motor they tend to do that...when i use my p28 skunk chipped is does it smooth...
