Default Which pistons for ls/vtec

okay i have searched and no info on pistons if i wanted to turbo a ls/vtec which i am wanting to do so any help would be nice i am using a b18b block and b16a2 head

run the ls rods and pistons, because they are able to hold to 300hp

i agree , i was gonna say p30's till i saw the boost part stock for under 300hp

eagle rods and pistons. they can handle up to 600 hp! and you can buy them from http://Summitracing.com

would the je piston (high comp)s be able to handle at least some amount of boost? i've heard it's been done but what results are we going to be looking at? thanks

the most compression i would... even think about useing is maybe 10:1..Thats only because i seen a ls/vtec turbo run 11 flat in a full interior 99 si lol

Running higher comp with boost will make your tuning window smaller, if you don't plan on running a lot of boost, you can get away with run higher comp.

high comp pistons and a turbo dont mix well, this setup could cause you to throw a rod, blow head gaskets all the time!

It would make crazy power if it was tuned right, but there is zero room for error... so i wouldn't do it.

I would run 9:1-10:1 for boost.
