Hi all:
I posted a message a few days ago, about my 1996 Honda Accord Lx V6, It got some pulsing effect at around 60~70MPH(somehow, if i accelerate/decelerate a few times in the highway, my engine meter will get funny reading, moving back and force dramatically, even i am maintainning even speed, the engine meter read as 0 or suddenly jump to somewhere).
Anyway, somebody told me the engine pulsing might be caused by computer and it's actually recalled by honda? I googled around and didn't find this recall information.
Can anybody tell me where i can find complete recall list for 1996 Honda Accord ?

bring your vin number to a honda dealer and tell them to check it to see if your car has any recalls

 

You can go on their site and sign up with a Honda Owner account and it should show you all the recalls if any for your car.

I have registered on Honda's website, to my surprise, I don't see any recall information!!! I can't believe that car never got any problems?

i went to a different site & it has 2 possible recalls for that year... (VIN check thru a dealer would make sure, but i guess u already did that online)

You computer is not recalled by honda. You should probably bring it down to any dealership and have it checked out but its gonna cost you some change.

The only two things recalled on your car are:

Recall 98V231000: Air Conditioner Wire Harness Chafing NHTSA98V231000 09/18/98

Recall - A/C Wiring Harness Routing 98-072 10/13/98

But there is an emmision warranty extension for the 95 v6 and all 96 and 97 models that could cover it. 14 years or 150,000 miles
