pg7 ecu

Default pg7 ecu

i was wondering...someone told me that an automatic ecu can be used for a manual car...i odnt trust his word cause in my opinion the kid doesnt know **** but im just double checking to see if it will work or not...oh yeah i have a 89 crx si with a zc and right now im running my stock si ecu and i have a 89 teg ecu (auto)...

Yes auto ecu's can work. but not the best i know most have lower fuel cut off. and im pretty sure they have differnt fuel curves than manual ecu's

I dont think so, I've run both manual and auto ecus for PG7 and PM6 and there was no noticable difference. And yes autos will work in manuals, though youll throw like a code 17 or 19 for the lock control solenoid...the thing that keeps you from shifting out of P without pushing the brake in.
