p28 auto
i have my automatic 95 civic ex delivery car and i fried my computer and i need to buy a new. My friend is selling one but the problem is it is manual. Now my questions is would it work in my car and what would be the problems?? i know the shiftlock would not disengage and would there be any other problems?

im not sure about manual ecu to auto car, but i hooked up an auto ecu in my manual car. lol so maybe its vice-versa. not sure tho..automatics have more complicated things involved.

Yes auto to manual will work you will hit rev limiter too soon in like 4th or something I cant really remember and you will also throw a code for auto transaxle lockup solenoid or something like that. Converting auto to manual is easy tho all you do is de-solder two resistors and replace one with a jumper wire.
