B18B LS/VTEC with ITR crank?
I have a 95 B18B1 LS motor that I plan to convert to the LS/VTEC setup down the road. I am sitting here wondering... In an All Motor-N/A application, would it at all be benificial to replace the LS (B18B1) crank with one from the ITR (B18C5)?
Pros? Cons? Other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

When I searched, I hadn't found too much.

ITR crank in a B18B?

From what I can tell, it seems that the stock LS rods won't even work correctly on the ITR crank. Correct?
So, pending that the ITR crank is used in the LS block, I assume I would need to use either ITR rods or aftermarket rods for use on the ITR crank. Correct?
But, what I really want to know is, is there a benefit to swap the crank? What are the differences in the two cranks?

using an ITR crank will just destroke the motor (89mm vs 87.2mm), resulting in a slightly better r/s ratio (1.54 vs. 1.58). Doesnt make a whole 'lotta' sense, you're better keeping the itr crank in a itr block (girdle, webbing, oil squiters, etc.) Or just use as LS crank and rods and do a ls/vtec.
