b16b w/ itr crank and rods stock IM, TB, jdm itr header, j's intake.... which cams?
which cams should i get with this setup? something aggressive that ill tune with a hondata but also that i can run on the street every day. will a new IM and TB help me out much?
well since your basically building a type r motor, i would try some ctr if your on a budget. if you would like to spend a little more money, there are an assortment of cams that will make good power, s2s2s, toda bs, buddy club3 or 4s. many many to choose from.
I GOT THE SAME SETUP AS YOU KINDA. I WAS JUS WONDERING IF I NEED TO SEND OUT THE B16 A2 BLOCK SO THAT I COULD FIT IN THE ITR CRANK? I HAVE AFTERMARKET PISTONS AND RODS, WITH JUN3 AND HONDATA. ALL I NEED TO DO IS TO PUT IT ALL IN. THANKS FOR THE INFO.
wont work for you jayray. you cant use a type r crank in a b16a block unless you use custom rods. the reason why ek9 can do it is because the b16b has a taller deck hight the same as the b18 blocks they where just d stroked from the factory. spoon makes a kit for 1000 or so to stroke a b16b.... b16b's and b16a's are different motors in so many different ways. as far as cams go there are sooo many cams on the market nowadays. the skunk2 stage two seem to be one of the hottest set of cams out right now because of the price and the gains you get out of it. im runnin crower stage 3's not recomended for street at all. I love the crower line alot of people have had problems with crower in the past I have yet to have one problem.

all three are great choices, but each of them will also require new valve springs and retainers, just in case you just wanted to buy cams only. The best bang for your buck drop in cam might be the bc spec 3+s.
