Default Tranny rebuilt something is wrong

I have a 92 cable ls tranny I had an lsd put in and the tranny shifted fine on the bench(checked it before I put it in the car) Now I hooked up the shift linkage put the half shaft in and the thing wont go into gear the shift pin only goes about half way in.....the half shaft spins but the other side of the tranny were the axle slides in wont spin anyone have this problem before....by the way the work was done at a reputable shop that has done dozens of lsd's for the shop I take my car to......

something is wrong i would take it off and open it up again just to be sure, make sure the bolt is in for reverse, other than that dies it have fluid in it? when i put a lsd in mine it was hard to pull and push rod unless it had fluid in, if your linkage is hooked up and it doesnt shift then see if something is binding otherwise it gotta be in the tranny, by the way my friend had a lsd installed by a shop and they didnt put the magnet back in, maybe they left something floating around inside and it just got stuck, magnet- ratchet -socket, yada yada yada?
