Default Headlight problem

OK, so yesterday my headlight bulb went out, or so I thought. I replaced
it with an extra one I had lying around but it still didn't work. today I
replaced the fuses under the dash but still no good. this isn't good, i
don't feel like gettin pulled over around here, the campus cops like to
pull kids over and give them ****. Any ideas, I guess I've got a short
somewhere but I have no idea where.
any help would be appreciated.
Evan

Bulb you put in, that was just laying around might not be good. I'd take the bulb that you already removed if you ain't junked it and put in the side that works to see if the bulb is good. Could just be that both bulbs were bad, I've bought bulb walked out to car to walk back in to store for replacment. If the "old" bulb that was thought to be blow lights up, start check the wiring on the side that stoped working with a test light or volt meter.

Yep, Piedmont Triad represent. There's a bunch of people on here from NC, mostly on the ITR board though.

I bought a new bulb today and that one doesn't work either. So I guess I'm gonna check the wiring, electical systems aren't my strong point though.

I switch between my White(with yellow front piece) 86 Civic si and a 99 Accord LX I used to drive an Yellow 84 Civic 1500S. I'm gonna paint the 86si yellow when I get the money saved up to get body fixed( D@MN rust ) at the same time. I want to Hybrid the si, but need to get house more. Original engine doing great with +250k miles on it though

Did you work and Morehead McD's? I was reading your post and you mention a yellow car and getting pulled.
