Default type-s piston?

anyone using type-s piston in a usdm or a jdm bottom end? need help ! does the block a difference?

Probably meant, does the block make a difference (a1 vs a4).

Does anyone know the differences between the rods of the a1 engine and that of the a4 engine?

As far as I was concerned....the rods were the same....i thought......i just thought the pistons were different....(A or B size)....like a .002 difference....???

you need to modify the h22a1 rods to work with the type s pistons
i think its something to do with the floating wrist pins....someone correct me if im wrong

does anyone have a pic of where this code is on an h22a (a or b) i have looked everywhere on the block and cannot find it.please help....

Wow. Yea, its on the lower left side of the motor, near where the tranny meets the engine block. It will say H22A then whatever your series is... and it will have a serial number
