Default Ok...turbo for me...finally decided but need help !!!

I have decided to build my own turbo out of parts from various places. I just need some help on fitment and overall if you guys think it will work. I'm thinking a stock turbo from a saab or something (give me ideas here). Then an intercooler from an old starion or something. Then i can get turbo piping off of ebay. I need to know where I can get a manifold and anything else you guys would recommend when doing this. I should be running low boost. Thanks!

A while back, "HCI" magazine (Hot Compacts and Imports, I think ) did an article series on "Boneyard Boost". They did a custom turbo on a B16 using primarily parts from factory turbo cars found at the junk yard. Of course, they had to buy a manifold (I think they bought a Drag mani), but most of the parts were scavenged. It might be worth a call to their order desk to get some back issues of the series.

Use an intercooler from an Isuzu NPR (Cargo Turbo-Diesel truck).
The guys at http://www.supraforums.com/ will be able to help you locate one.
They come fairly cheap: $200 I think.
Lots of people put them in their MKIII Supras.
good luck.
