Quick question.

If I run 2 T's off my oil pressure sending unit.... one for oil feed and one for guage.... will this affect the performance of the guage?

No it will not affect your guage. I have it and it works fine.

why do you need 2 T's?
The purpose of the T is to provide an extra outlet.
One for the Sensor and one for the feed. What else do you need an extra T for?

look into a sandwich adaptor from golden eagle or greddy. the oil pressure sending unit location on the block has been known to crack from added weight...the sandwich adaptor has two ports and is simple and safe

The only time I ever heard of that happening is from people putting the wrong size threads in there and try and fight with it to get it in and out.

 

thats why i said its been known...
ive heard good and bad things, if you do anything the right way the first time, everything should be fine.
just givin an alternate path to go with

2 tees = 1 line from the block, 1 for the oil feed, 1+1 for the 2 tees connected, 1 for the oil pressure switch, and 1 for the oil pressure gauge

you realize the oil pressure switch is only for a dummy light correct?
If you have an oil pressure gauge, what do you need the dummy light for?
Dummy light tells you when you have NO oil.
Pressure gauge will indicate when the pressure is dropping due to loss of oil or breakdown of oil.

 

Sure, but it doesn't harm anything to plug it in. Is there a way to prevent the light from coming on with Hondata, or can you physically create a false signal that will work even when not running a programmable ecu?

Thats why people have issues becuase they weigh the T's down and use the wrong threads.
If you need a dummy light to tell you you have no oil.
1. Its too late
2. Dont belong modding cars.

The oil pressure switch is pretty light. I think it's more a case of over tightening soft brass fittings and engine vibration that cause it to break. Mine's bolted onto the firewall anyway. I've never heard of anyone running 2 tees directly on the block.
