Ok i recently swaped a B16 into my 89 dx dpfi and my car will idle fine around 800-1000 RPMS but most of the time it idles from 2000-3000 rpms and has a hard start and i have no idea why. So guys can you please help... Thanks in advance

 

Does the idle stay at one certain rpm or do it go up and down really quick?

 

it stays steady usally around 3000 rpms

 

Check for a vaccum leak somewhere. Also, did you set the ignition timing?

 

the adjustment screw on the throttle body may be loose, you may wanna check that as well.
