Default No power after i changed alt

I got a 89 crx si with the stock motor in it still and i changed the alt put everything back on the alt, went to start the car and there is no power at all, i think its a short in the wiring. but i not sure and i checked every fuse on the car and nothing. Anybody got any ideas on what could be wrong.
thanx
