Default Safest GSR Redline point

whats the highest and safest redline point that a stock block GSR can be revved up to before damage such as throwing a rod or anything sudden is more likely to occur. My car is in the shop now to get some head work and the shop recormended me getting their valve train(titanium retainers and springs). I know this will allow the head to take a beyond stock rev limit shift, but what will my bottem end be able to handle safely. I am very hard set on not damaging my motor after I get it back because im pushing my budget as it is just to get the work done now and throwing a rod or somthing cause of to high of a shift is the last thing i need. Also what could be another advantage of having titanium valve springs and retainers?

Your request will ultimately depend on who does your headwork and what valvetrain you use. I can take mine to 9k with out any issues (Blox HSL cams) with Toda Valvetrain. If you are really worried about damage then dont take it past the stock limits.

im not wurried about damage to the head, the head will be built to go up to 10k. Im asking what is my STOCK block gonna be able to handle without breaking somthing.

I would stay less than 8200 rpm which is stock. You could rev it to 9K but before you do ask yourself if it's really worth it. Also there's kind of an old adage about going over the redline that "1000 rpm is worse than 10 pounds of boost" and it seems to hold true.

after it gets done Im going to dyno tune it and see where it stops making power or whatever and that will be my redline.
